Herbal Remedies for Coughs

In this class, I will be sharing what I know about basic herbs for coughs (which is not based on any experience with the coronavirus). Herbal medicine has historically looked directly at what symptoms are present rather than looking at particular organisms. This is the context in which we will approach this topic. We will learn about herbs that moisten the bronchioles, stir up stuck phlegm, kill organisms etc.

Join us for this live, virtual class that will be hosted on Zoom, so you can ask your questions, show me your work, and still practice social distancing.

In this two-hour virtual class, we will cover:

- major types of coughs
- ideal herbal constituents for cough remedies
- in depth on 10 herbs for coughs
- ideal preparations and dosage
- recipe ideas

Downloading Zoom and making an account:
We will be using Zoom for this class. You will need to download the software on your computer or phone. You can do this before the class by visiting this link: https://zoom.us/. Creating an account is free!

How to join the zoom call:
I will send you a link to the scheduled conference call to the email you provide at registration. When its time for class, you will follow that link (having already created your zoom account) and join the call. You may join with just audio, or just video. The call will start 10 minutes prior to the start of class so we can get settled in and technical difficulties worked out. I recommend using something with audio and video capabilities (phones or laptop computers work well).
