Herbal Gift Making (bitters, face oil and cleansing grains)
As we move into gift season, I imagine you're asking yourself what you can make to give to friends and family. There are so many delicious things you can make with herbs, so I've taken some time to choose some of my favorite herbal products, and we are going to make them together in this class!
I'll be sharing basic herbal skills such as how to infuse herbs in oil, how to make an herbal tincture and how to mix a face scrub or mask. You'll get to take home a sample of all three of the things we make in class (I'll provide all materials and containers). I'll also give you some more recipes to get you thinking about what else you can make!

ABOUT THE TEACHER:
Natalie runs the Adiantum School of Plant Medicine, a local herb school in Seattle, where she teaches classes on plant ID, medicine making, and holistic herbalism. She has spent several years acquiring and synthesizing knowledge about Western Herbalism, PNW Materia Medica, nutrition, and Chinese Medicine. She is particularly passionate about traditional assessment techniques, the effects of emotions on the physical body, and holistic models of understanding imbalance. She also loves to forage and grow medicinal plants of all kinds, because cultivating a direct relationship with the living plant is not only educational but very healing.
