The holidays might be the "most wonderful time of the year," but we often find ourselves overextended and exhausted from the extra tasks on our plates. Come on over to Yoga General and take a moment to rest and recharge with us. We invite you to experience a soothing evening of deep relaxation through yoga and sound. Brittany will guide you through a series of gentle restorative yoga poses, while Jennifer Proctor's crystal bowls bathe you in harmonic vibrations. This practice will soothe your nervous system, quiet your mind, and invite you to relax deeply held tension. Appropriate for all levels.

Jennifer Proctor is an Atlanta based massage and energy therapist, sound healer, and student of shamanism. She has been studying the therapeutic benefits of sound since 2011 and is an active member of The International Sound Therapy Association (ISTA). In 2013, she founded twilight reveille, a sacred sound orchestra. At the 10th Anniversary Cymatics Conference in 2015, twilight reveille was honored to receive a Healing Sound Ambassador Award for their contribution to the field. Playing the quartz crystal singing bowls, she conducts a weekly meditation at Self Discovery Center and provides live soundscapes for yoga classes and other special events throughout the year. She has taught An Introduction to Crystal Bowls for ISTA and has presented workshops at Chantlanta, Wigwam Wellness Festival, and Something Fresh Fest. The angelic vibrations produced by these crystal bowls have touched the lives of many, bringing peace and profound transformation.

Brittany Wilkerson (RYT 500) feels a great sense of joy in sharing Restorative Yoga with people from all walks of life and bringing an essence of ease to our overworked and overstimulated culture. She moved to Atlanta one year ago from Los Angeles, where she taught for 6 years at studios like Liberation Yoga ("Top 20 Yoga Studios in the World" Travel and Leisure), hotels, corporations, schools, and also worked with individual clients. She is certified at the 500 hour level through Liberation Yoga and an advanced training/mentorship with renowned teacher Annie Carpenter (SmartFLOW). Her hope is that through your yoga practice, you can locate your truest expression, healing, and joy, and find your way "home". Brittany teaches regular classes at Candler Park Yoga and offers individual sessions, private group classes, and workshops around town.
