YoFi Fest is four days of watching and talking about movies.
It's a chance to see new works by emerging filmmakers, includingfeatures, shorts, documentaries, music videos, animation and student works.
Thursday night features our opening night reception and feature film, followed by a Q&A with the filmmaker.
Friday evening begins with the popular Red Carpet Reception, featuring food by some of the finest local restaurants accompanied by signature cocktails from master mixologists. There are a few short speeches, then on to our Feature Presentation. The evening finishes nearby with the first ofour nightly After-Parties.
Saturday and Sunday we'll offer free kids movies from KidsFilmFest and workshops from the Jacob Burns Film Center starting at 10AM. Our film screenings and "mini film school" lectures and workshops start at noon in all three theaters at our Riverfront Library location, and continue all day. Following each day's screenings, it's off to the After-Parties for a signature cocktail, a snack and some mingling with fellow filmmakers and film fans at nearby restaurants and lounges.
YoFi Fest is easy to get to, fun to hang out at and not to be missed!
