IMPROV CLASSES IN HINSDALE, IL
Improv Unlimited and Improv University bring Improv Classes fromn the city to Hinsdale, IL!
Our Introduction to Improv is an 8 week class taught by Warren Phynix Johnson, veteran of Second City, IO and Annoyance theaters in Chicago. The class will run for 8 weeks starting on Saturday April 4th from 2-4PM and will continue each Saturday from 2-4PM until May 23rd.
The class will teach the fundamentals of improv comedy using the principals of "Yes And..." and theater games designed to heighten listening skills and spontaneity. At the end of the 8 week class students will perform in a live stage show along side actors from Improv Unlimited during an evening show of "ComedyPlex!" at 8PNM on May 29th. This class is ideal for anyone who has ever wanted an opportunity to learn about improvisational acting with hands-on instruction.
The 8 week class costs $200.00 and includes 8 classes plus all the students performing on stage with Improv Unlimited in their May performance of "ComedyPlex!" at Baldinelli Banquet Hall.
