More About The Omega Sci-Fi Project:
Omega Sci-Fi Project is produced by Light Bringer Project, a nonprofit arts and education organization serving Pasadena and Los Angeles. The Project seeks to inspire high schoolers across LA to fall in love with sci-fi creative writing and empower them to contribute their unique voices and diverse perspectives to examine the greatest challenges and moral dilemmas humanity faces. Our team holds free classroom creative writing workshops in high schools all over LA, teaching emerging writers the power of sci-fi. Student stories are considered for our creative writing contests, The Tomorrow Prize and The Green Feather Award, culminating in a spring reading honoring our prizewinning stories!
