Join Omega Sci-Fi Project for an out-of-this-world evening benefitting the sci-fi writers of the future!
Omega Sci-Fi Project uplifts students voices at a time when creative expression is under attack. In celebration of 10 years of Omega Sci-Fi Project, this event brings supporters, students, teachers and celebrity guests together to ensure that LAs only free high school sci-fi writing program will live on for decades to come.
Thanks to your support, Omega Sci-Fi Project has taught thousands of teens to love writing and think big about our future, examining important social and environmental justice issues through the lens of sci-fi. Together, we can continue to empower high school students to imagine a better tomorrow--a cause thats bigger than the cosmos.
Join us for a spectacular night of curated sci-fi readings by celebrity guests. All benefit proceeds will support our mission of teaching young writers across Los Angeles the power of sci-fi. With an additional donation, you can witness this transformative impact firsthand by sponsoring a front-row seat for a student or educator. See our donation levels for additional benefits. If you can't make it, no worries! You can still support our cause with a donation directly on our website, https://www.lightbringerproject.org/support.

More About The Omega Sci-Fi Project:
Omega Sci-Fi Project is produced by Light Bringer Project, a nonprofit arts and education organization serving Pasadena and Los Angeles. The Project seeks to inspire high schoolers across LA to fall in love with sci-fi creative writing and empower them to contribute their unique voices and diverse perspectives to examine the greatest challenges and moral dilemmas humanity faces. Our team holds free classroom creative writing workshops in high schools all over LA, teaching emerging writers the power of sci-fi. Students who take their participation a step further and submit their stories are considered for our creative writing sci-fi awards, The Tomorrow Prize and The Green Feather Award, culminating in a spring reading honoring the top stories!
