2nd Annual Lafayette Police Department K9 Golf Scramble
Where: West Lafayette County Club 3224 US- 52 W

Time: Registration starts at 11:00. Tee Off 12:30
Cost: $400 per team of four
Lunch, Dinner, Event T-shirt, 18 holes, cart fees are included in the cost
The Lafayette Police Department K9 Division is getting ready for a golf outing fundraiser at the West Lafayette County Club on September 17th, 2022.
We are looking to accomplish the following goals:
- Raise money to offset the cost of purchasing and outfitting one K9 unit
-Create a fun and welcoming event to promote positive relationships between the Lafayette Police and the community we serve
The Lafayette Police K9 unit is looking to purchase and train a police K9 for 2022. This year, we had to lay K9 Cezar to rest after a long battle with Lupus. We will also be losing K9 Joeri to retirement after ten years of service to the city this August.
The cost to purchase and train a K9 unit is approximately $16,000, and that does not include the cost of food or veterinarian bills for the K9s career. With your help, the City of Lafayette can add another K9 unit to keep the city safe.
