Cabochon and Glass Bead Embroidered Necklaces

Join jeweler Carole Horn for this afternoon-long, hands-on workshop on embroidering necklaces using glass beads. Taking inspiration for the works on view in the exhibit Maryland to Murano: Neckpieces and Sculptures by Joyce J. Scott, students will create glass beaded embroidery around a piece of cabochon gemstone. The resulting work will channel the colorful personality of each student in a one-of-a-kind wearable wonder.

No previous experience required. All materials provided.
