Burlesque Classes & Peer Review

Lili School For Wayward Girls is delighted to team up with Arizona's Don't Blink Burlesque For 3 burlesque dance classes, and peer reviews in Los Angles. The troupe just competed at the Burlesque Hall of Fame, and member Matt Finish is a Hollywood Burlesque Festival title holder.

11AM:
Ballroom Burlesque: Tango! with Scarlotta Sparkle
In this workshop you will learn basic tango steps and how they translate from the dance floor to the burlesque stage! Then we will put them together and learn a short, fun tango burlesque dance.
Class will consist of a warm up, introduction to the basic tango technique and steps, and a short choreographed routine.
Participants should wear exercise/dance wear and comfortable dance shoes (dance shoes with heels are highly suggested).
60 minutes, Class size: 5minimum/10maximum

12PM:
Ballet for Burlesque with Matt Finish
Ballet for Burlesque is a Ballet technique barre-based course that focuses on balance, grace, and strength for the entire body using exercises pulled from the classical ballet repertoire. This course is taught by Matt Finish, former soloist with Les Ballets Trockadero de Monte Carlo.
Participants should wear form-fitting dance wear and ballet shoes.
60 minutes, Class size: 5minimum/10maximum

1PM:
Sexy Jazz with Fanny Galore
Sexy Jazz is the high energy, sassy marriage of stylistic jazz movement and the sensuality of burlesque dance!
Students will build strength, coordination, balance and style through jazz dance based across the floor exercises and center dance combinations.all while having a great time!
Participants should wear form-fitting dance wear. Jazz shoes or foot undies are optional.
60 minutes, Class size: 5minimum/10maximum

ALL THREE CLASSES CAN BE BUNDLED FOR $50.

2PM-4PM:
Peer review: Limit 10 reviews.
$15 to perform for a peer review
$10 to attend and observe without taking a class
(Free to attend and observe for anyone taking a class. Just check in at the door)
Performers for review should show up with full hair, makeup, and as much of the costume/choreography as ready for review. You will be assigned a time the day before the event.
