Bird Language and Animal Tracking: Reading the Signs of a Landscape
Why do the birds sing in the morning, crows make a racket, and critters drop scat in your front yard? In this workshop you'll learn that birds are nature's news reporters, scat is significant and meaningful, and much more. If we can learn to interpret the language of birds along with the tracks and signs of other animals, we will begin to see and hear the story of the land. Join Meghan Walla-Murphy, writer and environmental educator, to learn bird language basics and the many intricacies of animal tracks and signs. Most of this class will be held in the field. All levels welcome.
