"Church of Dance" is a community-focused 'ecstatic dance' movement therapy session for people of all walks of life to come together and celebrate our bodies through freedom of expression. Ecstatic dance is often a somatic healing journey and cathartic release of stagnant energy and a powerful method to contain and cultivate energy within yourself. Assisted and guided by the intentional music and sounds of the resident DJ of the night. 'Church of Dance' is medicine for the soul.

Featured DJ of the night:
Jenn Mansell (DJ SnazzieJ) is a Toronto based Dj and Movement Medicine Women who delights in sharing her passion for movement, music, expression and human connection wherever she goes. She is often found djing ecstatic dance parties and conscious gatherings where epic humans gather to set their bodies free and elevate their spirits. Jenn's greatest desire is to give others permission to express themselves in the world in a real, messy, true and authentically beautiful way. Lets dance!

When? Usually Third Last Tuesday night of the month
6:45pm-9:15pm
-Doors open @ 6:45pm. Music warm up from 7-730pm. O pening circle at 730pm-
-Doors officially close at 8pm. Closing circle at 9pm-
We encourage everyone to show up on time right before 7 to get the full experience!

How Much? $19 plus tax fees (Advance Entry Only), $25 @ the door
We accept exact change for cash only at the door.
Mindful Information:
-Doors lock and last minute ticket sales close at 8pm.
-Ecstatic dance is a dry space. (If you toke before that's your perogative, just please ask not to be overtly intoxicated and we do not sell liquor)
-Please bring water and a water bottle.
-No shoes on the dancefloor (or indoor shoes only for people with foot issues etc)
-Ecstatic dance is like a *silent* meditation or a dance library ð,
-No talking in the space until when the music is over at the end.
-Please ask for consent to dance with or engage with others.
-No cellphones on the dancefloor *or used in the space*
-No photos, video or social media.
-Please keep the space scent free for people with allergies.
-This is a judgement free zone to embrace and celebrate one another.
-2SLGBTQIA+ positive space and i nclusionary of all races, genders, sexualities, and bodies are welcome, included and celebrated.
-Tickets may sell out in advance.
-If tickets are not sold out you can purchase online until 8pm night of the event.
-Please keep bags off of the floor on the designated tables so people do not trip.
-Tickets are transferable but non-refundable.
-We accept exact cash in person only, sorry!
