Lost Architecture of Springhill Avenue
Please join us for an evening with historian, Tom McGehee, and his presentation on the lost architecture of Springhill Avenue in Mobile, Alabama. This once Azalea laden and streetcar accessible avenue, was a showplace of beautiful homes and mansions. This event begins at 5:30PM at one of the most iconic mansions along Springhill Avenue, the Bragg-Mitchell Mansion. This 1850s era home is one of the few remaining mansions that once lined Springhill Avenue.
