If you already know the basics, get more practice and insight. If youre already a professional ventriloquist, come deliver your tribute and bow down to Master Herlinger who definitely did NOT write this introduction himself no sir. Ahem.
In this workshop, you will work. You will learn the proper techniques from a skilled performer, up close and personal. You will get personalized feedback and instruction. You will hear funny anecdotes that may potentially endear Karl to you if he doesnt blow it. The workshop is an overview that covers breathing, lip control, figure manipulation, the best chocolate chip cookie recipe, presentation skills and staging, and how to build an act. About Karl

Karl is a Los Angeles based ventriloquist and actor known for his irreverent and outside-of-the-box approach to ventriloquism. He has performed alongside Reggie Watts, Kristen Schaal, Puddles Pity Party, Kate Micucci, Kate Flannery, Jay Johnson et al. at shows including The Magic Castle, Brookledge, Flappers, Tomorrow Show with Ron Lynch, The National Puppet Slam at DragonCon and the LA Guild of Puppetry. His one-man show, Vent, won Best New Show at the first Hollywood Fringe Festival. Most recently, he won the coveted Best Ventriloquist in the Universe award, according to his 10-year old.
