St. Lawrence Arts presents Couch to Mic 4 class package with live performance
St. Lawrence Arts and Stephanie Lazenby present: Couch to Mic and getting off the couch has never felt so sweet!
This fall spend four weeks - in person, with other humans - writing, rehearsing and performing your own, original 3-5 minutes of comedy.
Over the course of four weeks students will be coached and guided in a supportive and fun environment, where each person can discover and amplify their own comedic voice, culminating in an exciting, live show.
Couch to Mic is an opportunity to take moments from your life and transform them into an empowering comedy experience. You have three minutes of material for sure!
Take your ideas off the page and onto the comedy stage.
ABOUT THE INSTRUCTOR: Stephanie S. Lazenby is a writer, performer and educator. She brings over twenty five years of experience to all of her creative endeavors. She was a member of Emerson Comedy Workshop at Emerson College and continued writing and performing original shows and short films in New York City. She has been published locally and nationally, was co-host of TedX - Piscataqua, host of Pecha Kucha, which is held seasonally at 3S Artspace and emcees the Couch to Mic shows. Most recently, she premiered her solo original stage show Where Do I Begin?
She speaks fluent sarcasm.
