Sybarite5 celebrates the end of 2014 and fall tour wrap up with a premiere at the cell. Tickets are $23 - $48 and may be purchased by phone, online or at the door.

The world premiere of a string quintet version of Yann's Flight by Shawn Conley is the featured work on the highly anticipated follow-up to Sybarite5's cell residency concert in October. Also set for the show are works by Radiohead, Mozart, Piazzolla, Visconti, & Komitas. Sybarite5's concerts have mesmerized audiences at NYC venues including Carnegie Hall, the Apple Store, Lincoln Center, and the cell.

The December 12 concert wraps up the group's annual residency at the cell and adds to a busy season that already includes a 16 state tour and multiple premieres.
Winner of the Concert Artists Guild Competition, Sybarite5 is comprised of superbly trained classical musicians: Sami Merdinian and Sarah Whitney, violins; Angela Pickett, viola; Laura Metcalf, cello; and Louis Levitt, bass. The players united with the goal of changing the perception of chamber music performance and have achieved it. As Sybarite5, they take their audience on an exciting ride with an eclectic blend of works and a dynamic, intensely personal performance style.
