Everwood Farmstead Foundation concludes its 9th season of the Artist Series with Erik Koskinen & David Huckfelt on Saturday, September 18th!

Musically driven from blending American folk, country, rock-n-roll and blues, Erik Koskinen and his top-shelf band realize a sound that is distinctive and fresh while familiar and rooted. Koskinen's music is a lyrical and musical metaphor of Americans' theater of love and war, of history and pain, and of the reflections in the mirror. Knowing but not didactic, Koskinen channels the ways of Whitman and reverently enters the anthology of uniquely crafted wry songs with the likes of Woody Guthrie, Ry Cooder and Randy Newman while speaking as plainly as your neighbor. The Minneapolis Star Tribune calls Koskinen "the real deal and the best country songwriter in Minnesota."

David Huckfelt has shared stages with a staggering diversity of artists from Mavis Staples, Emmylou Harris & Greg Brown, to Bon Iver, Arcade Fire & Gregory Alan Isakov. In thousands of shows across the United States, Canada & overseas, Huckfelt's performances range from small-town opera houses and Midwestern barn concerts to national tours and festival stages. His songs are peopled with the kind of imagery and insight that gives Huckfelt a singular voice and perspective among songwriters of his generation.

Everwood's Pay-What-You-Can ticket price is simple - choose your ticket price from the list above. One-half of your ticket price will be provided to the artists and the other half will be distributed through Everwood's Aspiring Artists Fund. The Fund provides grants to arts-focused teachers in Barron, Dunn, Pepin, Pierce, Polk and St. Croix counties for projects that spark wonder and talent in their young, aspiring artists. Everwood reveals a recipient(s) at each performance. Since 2012, Everwood has donated almost $33,000 to local school programs.

Given the CDC's updated guidance, Everwood will require all to wear a face mask in the barn (with the exception of the performers) and outhouse regardless of vaccination status.
