Junk Heart Pendants

Valentine Edition!

Ih-house glass fusion and mixed media artist Donna Rennea Smit teaches this repurposed, recycled, and reused class taking vintage jewelry, glass fusion beads, shells, pearls, beads, and anything that can fit in a heart cabochon. Each student will learn a simple wire wrapping technique and then fill the heart with baubles and resin. Every student will be able to take home their wearable art and wear the next day and each piece comes with a ribbon necklace. As a bonus, Donna creates hearts from scraps of glass, pours into a mold and then uses a tile saw and refuses the pieces to truly create a recycled heart. Each student will wire wrap one of Donna's creations to take home. All supplies included, but students can bring jewelry from home to incorporate. Limited to 6 students. Treat yourself to fun filled morning and untap your creative side!

This class is appropriate for ages 12+
Please note our Cancellation Policy: Preregistration is required for all classes including payment in full. A full refund is available for cancellations up to 7 days before class, half refund 2-7 days before class. No refund within 48 hours of class. If there is a waiting list or you can find someone to fill your spot, we will offer a full refund.

COVID-19 Safety protocol: For the safety of teachers as well as students, we will be requiring anyone in the studio taking classes or shopping, to wear masks and keep their hands clean. Students can go outside to take breaks and get fresh air during class, but must be masked at all times inside the studio. If you anticipate this being too cumbersome please wait to register for a class at a later date when these restrictions are lifted. Classes will be limited to six students as we ease into reopening. Studio and common tools will be sanitized after each workshop.
