Welcome to the first installment of 38 North Studios 38N Live event. Enjoy a VIP show with special guests The Meer, Cinema Hearts, and Kathryn Rheault, and get access to like you have never had before.

Watch from the comfortable environment of this state of the art recording studio, located in Falls Church, as these powerful artists record and film their set live. You won't want to miss this show!

THE MEER:
The Meer creates a unique sound from elements of post-punk, alternative, dark folk, and straight forward minimalist rock. They strive to uphold strong DIY ethos and promote a supportive community for independent musicians. The Meer plays regularly across several states surrounding the DC metro area.

CINEMA HEARTS:
A pageant queen fronts a rock n roll band. Inspired by the music of doo-wop singers and surf guitarists from long ago, the sound of Cinema Hearts is wistful, yet feisty, with a pulsing passion for days gone by. Cinema Hearts has played local concert halls and rock clubs, including Kennedy Center, AMP by Strathmore, Smithsonian Museums, Black Cat, Fort Reno, and more. Cinema Hearts has toured the east coast to New York City, Philadelphia, Richmond, and other cities.

KATHRYN RHEAULT:
Kathryn especially enjoys how live music's intimacy and connection sometimes rises into moments which feel timeless. She got her start in theatre and musicals, then film before venturing into songwriting. Not then knowing how to play guitar, what I was experiencing I couldnt compellingly express in another way than musically, so I almost started journaling with the guitar. Kathryn loves theatre, music and philosophy and tries to combine those themes and genres into her songs and performances. I enjoy seeing a character or a person fail and grow, discover and transform: I want this to permeate my music.
