Beer and Cheese Pairing Class at City Barrel Brewery + Kitchen with Green Dirt Farms
Two Missouri award-winning companies join forces to create a fun culinary experience with local flavor.
Join us for a pairing class utilizing City Barrel's beers and Green Dirt Farm's cheeses.
City Barrel Brewery & Green Dirt Farms will be presenting 4 beers and 4 cheeses. Learn how to work from beer to cheese and from cheese to beer.
Beer to Cheese: City Barrel Brewery will discuss their beers and the characteristics of beer that brewers use to identify good cheese candidates for pairing.
Cheese to Beer: Green Dirt Farms will talk about their cheeses and their respective profiles including what cheesemakers look for in a complementary beer flavor profile.
Create the Board: Chef Benjamin Wood of City Barrel Brewery + Kitchen will discuss using different jams and spreads to complement with your beer and cheese selections and ultimately how to set up a cheese board or plate that works best to highlight your cheese and beer selections.
Note: The beer sampling portion is a 21+ event
