Scud Mountain Boys House Concert
Seminal '90s alt country band The Scud Mountain Boys, with a brand new album just out this summer, return to the Roots Hoot House Concerts fold on September 21, for a rare house concert appearance here at our humble abode here in Peace Dale, R.I. Disbanding in 1997, the Northampton-based band was a significant cog in the then burgeoning scene. They reunited in 2012 for a bunch of shows and began work on the new album. They bring it to Peace Dale for an intimate house show. We will have the table and the lamp! And we will have the Scuds. Doors at 7 pm and show at 7:30. We've done of ton of house shows here since our beginnings in 2001 and the Scuds' 2012 appearance was a top 5-er to these ears. You WANT to be here. The show is a BYOB/potluck show which means terrific food to go with an evening of great music. Sounds like win-win to us.
