SF Live Arts @ Cyprian's features another strange and wonderful double bill!

The Fraternal Order of the Society Blues is Jeremiah Lockwood (The Sway Machinery), guitar/vocals; Ricky Dirty Red Gordon (Wynton Marsalis Ensemble), percussion; and Ernesto Gomez (Brotherhood of the Jug), harmonica/vocals. The Fraternal Order of the Society Blues pays homage to the music of their teacher, Carolina Slim, aka Elijah Staley. In this performance they will play his music in the deep Piedmont blues tradition he imparted to them over many long years playing in the subway of NYC with Music Under New York.
