Brett Newski & the No Tomorrow

Dubbed as the "Loudest Acoustic Act Ever" by Daytrotter, Brett Newski is a North American nomad, illustrator, songwriter, and folk-punk guitarist from Milwaukee, Wisconsin. He has been featured in Rolling Stone, Paste, Boston Globe, Consequences of Sound, Blurt, and Visions music publications, and was recently on tour as an opening act for Manchester Orchestra, the Pixies, and the Violent Femmes. Additionally, Brett Newski has traveled across the world playing a myriad of shows, including a pop-up show at the Berlin Wall over the last year. He is also known as being the first band to ever be thrown out of Wal-Mart for playing an illegal show! We're sure he will be sharing many stories about life on the road!

Brett Newski has certainly kicked his own ass over the past 6 years, touring infinitely (mostly alone) and wandering down the rabbit hole of anxiety, depression, and wallowing self-doubt. All of these negatives have blossomed into positive creative energy on his third LP, "Life Upside Down". To hear Brett Newski tell it, "Anxiety can actually be a good thing. If you use it right, that nervous energy can be channeled into motivation or creativity. Even the most seemingly confident people have self doubt."

As always, tickets are $25 and includes beverages, snacks, and live music from one of the industry's most notable DIY acts. However, we do encourage attendees to bring a snack to share. Additionally, if you're unsure of the beverages we'll have, feel free to bring something of your personal preference. You won't want to miss this!
