Whale Tail Resin Art with Donna Smit

This two part class will allow students to experience the beauty of creating a dirty pour(mixing more than one paint color in the same container before adding to a canvas or substrate) and then weeks later, add glass, beads, shells, plastic(unlimited possibilities) and coating with resin. This class is two parts since you have to allow the acrylic paint to thoroughly dry for almost a month before applying the additional materials and resin. The whale tail is made of wood and measures approximately 16 in height and 12 in width. If you are a nautical lover of whales and mermaids, this class is for you! .This class allows students the freedom to create any colors and design on their whale tail. The student can create beautiful one-of-a-kind art that is dimensional. Students are encouraged to bring baubles from home to enhance their whale tail on the second class. The second class will be determined by students/instructor availability-approximately 3-4 weeks from the first class. All supplies (including the whale tail) are included. $95. Limit of 8 students
