On-Camera Acting Class
Teaching Artist: Grant McGowen
In this 8-week class, you will practice and develop the skills necessary for acting in films. You will learn how to break down a script, build believable characters from the ground up, and execute every shot from the master to the close up. Each week, you will shoot a new scene in class, utilizing playback to discover how to improve your acting with work that is specific and grounded in powerful storytelling. Teaching Artist Grant McGowen invites special guest Directors to work in collaboration with Actors, giving students invaluable on-set experience and a chance to work with seasoned professionals.
