Busy Being Focused - Kids Yoga Series

Using proven yoga and mindfulness techniques, this series promotes natural focus with a fun atmosphere and light-hearted approach. Led by 300-hr Registered Kids & Adult Yoga Teacher, and Director of Busy Being Kids Yoga, Emily Hunt:

"Having worked with many kids and experienced "ADHD" personally from a young age, I have seen the impact that certain mindfulness and yoga techniques can have on a child's natural ability to focus."

Mindfulness techniques with the combination of yoga poses and breathing settle the energy in the brain and body to feel more centered and in control. It is a practice of intentional focus. Just like anything, it becomes easier with time and some dedication which is why the series runs twice a week. Such practices prove to leave the child more relaxed and able to naturally focus, without the side effects medication can bring.

Series will be capped at 10 participants. Suggested age: 9-12
Series fee $85
Optional Adult Participation Series Fee $50
Feel free to join in as you please. I welcome the benefits of learning alongside your child.
There is also a lobby outside the studio door with a couch, chairs and bathrooms.
