Join Missy Rohs of the Arctos School for a day full of medicine-making, cooking, and fun! We'll talk about winter wellness strategies, focusing on herbs to keep warm and boost immunity. The day will be part hands-on medicine making, part cozy classroom learning, and part sharing food and knowledge together.
Specific plant allies for improved warmth, circulation, immunity, and vitality will be covered, including best uses and contraindications for each plant. Together, we'll make an immune-supporting meal and enjoy a delicious lunch. In the afternoon, the class will create plant medicine with easy-to-find ingredients and each student will bring home medicine that they've made, with recipes to use in the future.
Class held in SE Portland. Cost is $90 dollars, including materials and lunch. Sliding scale available. Registration required by January 18.
For those who would like to register for the entire wellness workshop series -- Warm It Up (Jan. 21), Stress Less (Feb. 11), and Weed Witches (Mar. 4) -- the cost is $210.
