The Posies@Chilton House

As part of the Posies 30th anniversary in 2018, Jon Auer and Ken Stringfellow will be playing several shows as a duo in January and February. We are extremely fortunate to have them playing in Richmond at our house!

The Posies were an important part of late 80s/early 90s music. They had several hits including "Golden Blunders" (from Dear 23), as well as "Dream All Day", "Solar Sister" and "Flavor of the Month" (from Frosting on the Beater).

In the years between then and now, they have worked on solo projects as well as new Posies material. In addition, Jon and Ken have performed with Big Star and Ken has toured with REM.

We've seen them play over the last few years and they put on a fantastic show! They sound as great as ever, and the set list is always full of so much musical goodness.

We have an arcade and it will be open before the music starts, so you'll want to get here! Doors will be at 7pm, music will start a little after 8pm. We know its a school night, so don't worry, you'll be back home at an early hour. Tell your friends - let's pack the house!
