Two young up and coming bands join in for one great night at The Lizard Lounge.

San Lorenzo are self described as "A motley collection of reformed band geeks, we're all about lyrically driven progressive folk pop, toast, and fitting onto tiny stages. Pioneers of Frog Pop, as far as we know." Having joined Dietrich Strause on their last visit to the Lizard we can tell you this - they are super fun!

Connecting with a mutual love of jazz, soul and rock and roll, Gretchen & the Pickpockets have been sharing their sound with audiences all across the United States. Named after a hometown road with a history for larceny, the group has become known for their unique blend of genres and their energetic live shows. Whether it be an old jazz cat, a young punk, or anyone in between, it matters not. Gretchen and the Pickpockets want their songs messages, attitude, and horn lines to find their way straight into any listeners ears and stay there for some time. Give them a chance, and they might just pickpocket your heart away.

Gretchen and the Pickpockets is a Rock band with strong Blues and Jazz influences. They seem to have found a way to fuse multiple genres into perfect harmony.
