The Ashland Beekeepers Association presents a four-day Beekeepers 101 Short Course with an emphasis chemical-free practices. The course will be held on four consecutive Monday evenings, March 6, 13, 20, 27, 2017 at the Family Life Baptist Church in Ashland, Virginia. An optional fifth Saturday open hive demonstration in the bee yard with an equipment assembly demonstration is included. The course consists of lectures and hands-on demonstrations.
Tuition: $60 includes book 'Simple Smart Beekeeping', handouts, and FREE 2017 Ashland Beekeepers membership. $30 tuition available for additional students in the same household (includes handout and membership but no book). Minor children must be accompanied by a paying adult.
Seating is limited; please register early. We look forward to introducing you to the exciting world of beekeeping!
