Fear v Loathing 2016!

The 2016 election has been insane. Between the animatronic pantsuits and the braying yams, you may think youre the one going nuts. Youre not alone. Sometimes all you can do is laugh as the journey takes the strangest and scariest turns you can imagine. Let DB Comedy help you down the white-knuckled journey with a few laughs amidst the screams.

DB Comedy, Chicagos only theater company dedicated to political satire and sketch comedy, proudly presents FEAR V. LOATHING 2016 A SAVAGE SATIRICAL JOURNEY THROUGH THE HEART OF THE AMERICAN ELECTION, featuring World Premiere comedy written by our Writers of Wrongs, performed by The Actors of Evil, and featuring some of Chicagos best music acts and stand-up comics.

FEAR V. LOATHING opens Tuesday, October 11, at 7:30 pm at Marys Attic, in the heart of Chicagos Andersonville neighborhood and performs Tuesdays through the Election Season, culminating on ELECTION NIGHT as we follow the results and provide a sanctuary for celebration or a stop on the way to Canada, depending on the results.

Tickets for FEAR V. LOATHING are $15, $12 for students and Seniors, and group rates for groups of 5 or more. The October 18 show is Industries Night, with 2-for-1 and Pay-What-You-Can tickets for professionals in the theater, political, and/or nonprofit industries. Each show features a worthy Cause Celebre a nonprofit organization doing good in the neighborhood. Enjoy drink specials courtesy of Marys and their neighbors, Andersonville Brewing.

The Election Night show (November 8) also features a $30 ticket that includes appetizers and one well drink from 7 to 9 pm. The Cause Celebre for that night will be the Illinois Choice Action Team, a nonprofit that works to promote the mission of NARAL Pro-Choice America.
