Putney Vaudeville!

PUTNEY VAUDEVILLE is the ongoing project of director Rebecca Waxman and musician Peter Siegel (of The Gaslight Tinkers). A showcase for first-class entertainment and community talent, the event includes a stellar professional act, a rousing house band, assorted friends and neighbors displaying surprising talents, and good-natured audience engagement.

The November 2016 Putney Vaudeville will feature the beloved performer Troy Wunderle, known for his work with Ringling Brothers and Barnum and Bailey Circus, Circus Smirkus, celebrated workshops and multiple television appearances. Troy is a graduate of the Maryland Institute College of art, and the Ringling Brothers and Barnum & Bailey Clown College. He is a former international performer with the Ringling Brothers and Barnum & Bailey Circus. For the past fourteen years he has toured throughout the United States as a freelance performer and employee of Vermont's own Circus Smirkus. His antics have been featured on the Disney channel, The Today Show, Martha Stewart, Chronicle, Fetch, Fox and Friends and Americas Funniest Home Videos. Troy is Big Top Tour Artistic Director of Circus Smirkus, Director of Clowning for the Ringling Brothers and Barnum & Bailey Circus and founder of Wunderle's Big Top Adventures.

This event will enjoy the spectacular renovations that have recently occurred at Next Stage. The space is now fully accessible, with state of the art sound and lighting, comfortable seating, great sightlines, and a dance floor. As always, refreshments will be served in the welcoming and warm downstairs space.
