Paco Erhard: 5-Step Guide to Being German
Sold out at comedy festivals in Great Britain, Canada, and Australia, 5-Step Guide to Being German is award-winning German comedian Paco Erhards comical mission to set the record straight about his charming, crazy mishap of a country. Exploring the reality behind the stereotypes, 5-Step Guide to Being German delivers an extremely clever analysis of the modern German psyche (Independent Daily, AUS) that is side-splittingly funny and violently politically incorrect (The Argus, UK). The show was nominated for the Fringe World Best Comedy Award in 2013.
Paco Erhard shows audiences the Germany behind the scenes, as he deals with topics as varied as Ger-man bluntness (we just value honesty more highly than other peoples feelings), hilarious dilemmas on the Autobahn, the secret behind lederhosen, and how it feels to have to grow up with Germanys horrible past.
Born in Munich as the great-grandson of a high-ranking liberal German politician, Paco Erhard has traveled around the world as a comedian since 2002. He has performed in Great Britain, Australia, New Zea-land, Singapore, Malaysia, Spain, Argentina, Austria, Germany, and the USA, in English, German, and Spanish. He has written on cultural identity and has appeared on numerous TV & radio programs around the world.
