New London's Whaling Heyday
Join NLMS head docent Bill LaRoue for some of his favorite New London stories on Sundays at 2 PM. Tours of the exhibitions are available after the program.
On Sunday, February 28, Bill discusses the decades in the early 19th century, when New London was the 2nd leading whaling port in the world, New London's storied Jibboom Club #1, and the legacy of the whaling industry today.
