The contemporary dance experience summer intensive

Emotions Physical Theatre's is hosting the Contemporary Dance Experience summer audition and workshop featuring nationally and internationally known teachers, choreographers, and companies. The Contemporary Dance Experience summer audition and workshop is a seven day event where dancers will sharpen their skills, learn the art form of becoming a working dancer, and connect with hiring choreographers.

The workshop begins on August 22nd and runs through August 28th from 10am to 5:00pm. Each morning participates will receive two one hour and thirty minute technique classes such as ballet, contemporary, loft, graham and improv. Follow by afternoon rehearsals with several renowned NYC company directors many who offer paid contracts. Optional evening seminars, offered at no additional cost, include sessions on how to market yourself as a dancer and how to turn dance into a career.

The last day will have a culmination performance featuring works by staff, which will be seen by multiple choreographers and dance professionals. After performance we will have a job fair.
