On-line registration for this event is now closed. To attend this event, please go to the location listed herein. If there is seating/space availability or "no-shows"/cancellations when you arrive, you will be admitted. However, there are no guarantees for admittance. Priority is given to those who have already registered on-line with Brown Paper Tickets. FREE lunch is only served to the first 200 registered attendees. See below for further instructions. As of 4pm May 24th... Waiting List for Master Classes Info: If you want to attend the Master Classes at this event (1-4p), we strongly recommend that you show up at 12:30p tomorrow (May 25th) at the Field House on Ethel Street. Put your name on a waiting list (for the Master Classes from 1-4p) for a first come first served basis. There are a few spaces left that we would love to accommodate folks with. The waiting list for Dance Exhibition at 5p will also be available for sign ups at that time. Waiting List for Dance Exhibition Info: We have a few seats left for this portion of our event as well. Please either show up at 12:30 or at 4:30p to Monarch Hall on the LAVC campus. Put your name on the waiting list(s) for a first come, first served basis. Valley Dance Club's Dance Expo 2012

An all student produced event.

A fun full day of dancing! The first half of your day will start with exciting Master Class Series taught by local industry professionals. Open to all levels of dance experience and training. The second half of the day showcases dance works from around the L.A. community including professionals and students.

Schedule (subject to change without prior notice)
First Location: The Field House on LAVC campus

We strongly advise that you arrive early at least by: 12:30p
1:00p-1:30p Warm up
1:40p-2:50p Master Dance Class 1 Jazz and/or Modern
3:00p-4:00p Master Dance Class 2 Hip Hop

Second Location: Monarch Hall on LAVC campus
4:15p-4:45p Free light meal served for the first 200 registered attendees.
5:00p-7:00p Dance Exhibition

FREE Parking: Park in parking lot "E"
You can access parking lot "E" by Ethel Street.
Directions: Once on Oxnard head South on Ethel Street. Keep going straight until you reach a dead end (there's a stop sign with a yellow gate and flashing lights--can't miss it). Follow the street as it curves. Parking lot "E" will be on your right at that point. It's on that very corner where the stop sign is. Pull into the parking lot and find a spot. The Field House is the domed roof building at the south end of parking lot "E". You can't miss it. There will be signs reading: "Dance Club's Dance Expo 2012" on the outside of the building. If you get lost, please ask for directions.

When you arrive at the Field House:
Please check in at the registration table. Give the event staffer your name so we can sign you in on our list. Thank you very much for joining our event. We look forward to a great time.

Be sure to bring:
Water, a towel as we're sure our Master Class workshops will make you sweat, suggested footwear: jazz shoes, ballet slippers, dance sneakers, foot thongs/sandals, foot undies, etc., and please feel free to bring your cameras (videos are fine too) to capture great moments. After the event, it'd be great if everyone could share.
