Congratulations! You have a confirmed spot in the following improv class: Short Form Improv with Laura Patrick FOUR Mondays, 7-9pm at The Pilates Studio in the DOWNSTAIRS classroom (104 Russell St, Rt. 9 and West Street, Hadley): Oct. 26 Nov. 2 Nov. 9 Nov. 16 If a make-up day is needed, it will be Nov. 22 (Plan on getting there about 5-10 min. early to settle in so the workshop can start promptly.) Have so much fun with my friend and stage partner Laura! And I hope you'll continue the fun by signing up for The Buckingham, where we'll be learning a short-longform structure. "Shlongform!" Short Form Fun Class with Laura Patrick (FULL(

Four Mondays, 7-9pm in Hadley,
starting Oct. 26th
$80 (includes service fees)

Pre-requisite: Zen of Improv 3+ or permission of the instructor

You've learned so much about longform improvisation over your Zen of Improv sessions, how about diving feet- and heart-first into short form improvisation? It's so much fun! In this Advanced Zen of Improv class, we explore a huge variety of short form "games" from a variety of angles: What does it mean to perform short form with a longform sensibility? How can you maintain honest scenework in gibberish? How can a large arsenal of short form games benefit your longform scenework? How can we perform these games artfully?

In addition to learning the games, we practice them and explore "tricks" for performing them adeptly. Prepare to add significantly to your repertoire of short form improv games in this class.

And prepare to laugh your ass off!

This class is an excellent - and in some cases necessary - preparation for The Buckingham class, which begins later in the Fall.

A clarification of the payment agreement: Once you have registered and paid, if you are unable to attend, you still are expected to pay for the class if it is full. (If you're unable to attend, I will do my best to try to find a replacement participant, but it's your primary responsibility to fill your spot.) Unfortunately, I am unable to make any refunds for full classes as I am holding the spot for you and turning away other paying participants. Thank you for your understanding.
