Jamie Anderson! with Marla McCulloch opening the show!

Touring since the eighties, singer-songwriter Jamie Anderson has played her warm and witty songs throughout four countries and forty seven states. "Better Than Chocolate" is her 10th recording and includes songs that stretch across jazz-folk , blues, country, folk and more. Jamie is a spunky, creative, and wildly funny free spirit. She brings that spirit to her songwriting, that's full of fun and games. There's a lot of love behind her writing too, and it flows into the spiritual and sensual. Anderson's strength is her ability to distill both the humor and pathos from life, and to present them side-by-side artistically and poetically.

MARLA MCCULLOCH

Marla is a local singer-songwriter from Media, PA who is a current member of the feminist a cappella group, SheWho. Being a shameless nerd, Marla is thrilled about her upcoming "Music for Academics" tour. You can reach Marla at profmarla@me.com. (Yes, she is also a professor at two local universities.)
