Overview of the Foundation: The primary focus of the Skipp Pearson Jazz Foundation is to continue the late Skipp Pearsons life-long mission to foster a greater appreciation of live Jazz music performances across America and around the globe. Through its signature projects and on-going programs, the Foundation preserve the music career, life and work of Skipp Pearson, South Carolina's Official Ambassador for all interest of Jazz Music. In addition, the Foundation promotes the art form of live Jazz music through the presentation of a myriad of educational programs and innovative projects. The objective of all efforts made in this regard is to help the State of South Carolina and communities beyond preserve the rich history of Jazz music in America.
