Live Performance Yuley Díaz & Nacho Arimany (30-minute concert) To celebrate our Opening Night, we are proud to present a special concert blending the rich musical traditions of Spain and Cuba. Please welcome Cuban-Spanish jazz piano maestra Yuley Díaz and Spanish percussionist Nacho Arimany.
Film Screenings:
Sweet Boys - Seattle Premiere (Drama & Music, 14 minutes, English, Spanish, 2024, USA) A love letter to youth, East Harlem, and the kids I knew growing up. Inspired by a poem and the spirit of the early 2000s, the film follows two friends who go down different paths. Directed by Natasha Rivera
The Ladder - Special Screening (Sci-Fi, Drama, 103 minutes, English with Spanish Subtitles, 2024, USA) In the twilight of his life, an aging Alaskan fisherman and father, grieving the loss of his wife, considers a mysterious procedure that promises a fresh start. As close friends undergo the transformation, he grapples with his longing for a second chance and the cost of letting go of the life he has known. Directed by Emilio Torres (Director will be in attendance).
The entrance to the ceremony will be located at the Emergency Door on Terry and Boren Avenues.

Accessible Parking Designated disabled parking spaces are available on a first-come, first-served basis in the museum's private parking lot on the west side of Terry Ave near the Columbia St doors. There are also two designated load/unload spaces at the main Terry Ave entrance and two additional spaces at the Columbia St doors.
