Seaside High School Dramatic Arts Presents: The Unsinkable Molly Brown Music and Lyrics by Meredith Wilson Book and New Lyrics by Dick Scanlan Based on the Original Book by Richard Morris
This legendary American original rises above her impoverished beginnings and proves you can't keep a good woman down in a revitalized version of the classic tale. The play follows many historical political and social movements, including women's suffrage, early labor movements, and immigrants rights after the sinking of the Titanic - all efforts the real-life Molly Brown was engaged in.
Solidarity, persistence, and true love lead the way as Molly's share-the-luck spirit proves she "ain't down yet!" Don't miss this unforgettable show full of heart, humor, and history, in Seaside High School's unique black box theatre-under-the-stairs.
