Western Washington Fellowship of Reconciliation (WWFOR) presents its 27th Annual Spring Assembly "Strengthening Our Nonviolent Movement in This Time of Chaos"

In the current political and societal turmoil, all of us are affected in many ways.  We may feel powerlessness, grief, or rage - or all of these in turns.  These are understandable reactions to what some have termed an administrative coup by the Trump Administration.  Yet we may also feel hope and community as we resist injustice and cruelty. Together, let us consider what kind of nonviolent actions are most effective when our democratic norms and processes are being trampled.

Everyone is welcome to join us for a Zoom conference with speakers, youth presentations, discussion. groups, and music.

Keynote Speaker Stephen Zunes

Dr. Stephen Zunes is a  Professor of Political and International Studies at the University of San Francisco. He is a renowned international relations scholar specializing on the Middle East, U.S. foreign policy, and strategic nonviolence. We encourage you to join us for what is bound to be a stimulating and rich learning experience.

Admission levels $20, $15, $10, $5, or Free. There are some expenses for this event, so please pay what you are able. Extra donations are welcome at any level.
