SEATTLE CABARET FESTIVAL PRESENTS: MARY VanARSDEL in "HERE'S TO LIFE"
An evening of songs and stories from the 47-year performing career of actress and singer Mary VanArsdel, a Seattle native and original cast member of "Angry Housewives", Seattle's longest running show ever.
ABOUT MARY VanARSDEL
Mary VanArsdel is best known in Seattle for originating the role of Jetta in Seattle's longest running show ever, "Angry Housewives". After moving to L.A. and then NYC, she accumulated over 100 credits in stage, film, television, and commercials. She originated roles in the First National Broadway tours of the Tony Award-winning Best Musical "A Gentleman's Guide to Love and Murder" and "Mary Poppins", and made her feature film debut in the Clint Eastwood-starring film "In the Line of Fire".
SEATTLE CABARET FESTIVAL PRESENTS: JOHN ALLMAN in "TELL EVERYONE ELSE"
Singer/pianist John Allman calls it like he sees it in this stylish, heartfelt showcase featuring his pop-jazz-rock infused originals, along with gems from way back in that brash, bold 20th century.
ABOUT JOHN ALLMAN
Singer-songwriter-pianist John Allman has performed his own songs in venues such as Seattle Cabaret Festival 2024 at Egan's; Redmond Pride 2023; the Calico Café and the Palace Saloon in Santa Fe, New Mexico; and Village Gate and Deanna's in New York City. As a composer, lyricist and librettist, John's original stage works have been seen in Seattle, Santa Fe and New York City. John has independently produced staged readings of his new original musicals "The Miracle of the Salt" and "Fur Pajamas" at the Studio Black Box at Seattle Center Armory in 2023-24.
Showtime: 7:00 PM. Doors open at 6:00.
