Theatre Americana presents "JC Superstar in Concert"
Theatre Americana will present a staged benefit concert for the victims of the L.A. and Altadena fires on Saturday, 4/5 (matinee and evening show), and Sunday, 4/6 (matinee only).
Added: Saturday, 4/12 @3:00 pm @ the historic Raymond Theater.
The concert will depict the passion of Jesus Christ in this beautiful and haunting opera by Andrew Lloyd Weber and Tim Rice in preparation for Easter Sunday. The fully costumed staged concert version of Jesus Christ Superstar will tell the story of biblical Jesus in the final days leading up to His crucifixion. The show is a product of its era, permeated with 1970s rock, gospel, and high-energy dance numbers.
