'YOU'VE JUST WON OVER A BILLION DOLLARS AND THE WORLD IS YOUR OYSTER.'
The Tides of Fortune is a one act play, that imagines what might happen the day after a young Angelean, Mario, wins an estimated 1.2 billion dollars payout on the lotto. What dreams this elicits for the future and how it might perceivably affect him, his friendships and family ties.
The media circus has started setting up outside his home, along with a growing crowd of excited on lookers, eager to find out what he intends to do with this mammoth fortune. Chico on the other hand isn't going to wait to find out what his best friends intentions are, he's going to break in and get the party started.

Starring: Nicolas Arturo as Mario, the winner of the fortune. and Dylan Ingco as Chico, his long-time neighbor and best friend.
Nicolas Arturo (Mario) is a versatile actor based in Bogotá, Colombia, currently represented by Alvarado Rey Agency. With a BA in Theatre Arts focusing on performance and a minor in film, he brings a rich blend of experience to the stage. Nicolas recently wrote, directed, and starred in Silencio, a play that received special mention at the Brisk Festival, exploring dark comedic moments in the absurdity of life through the lens of a young military man grappling with existential despair. He is thrilled to be part of Tides of the Fortune playing Mario; collaborating with talented artists like Dylan and Wayne has been a rewarding experience.
Dylan Ingco (Chico) is delighted and excited to part of this production with Wayne and Nicolas. His most recent theatrical performance was with the California Repertory Company in their production of 'The Door' playing the role of Henry. He studied theatre at California State University Long Beach and graduated with a B.A. in performance and continues to develop and hone his skills taking classes at the AFA Studio in Toluca Lake. He is also busy working on several other theatre and film projects .He is actively looking to connect with an agent who can help promote and further his career. He hopes projects such as this will help facilitate those opportunities and connections, as well as further experience He would like to thank all his family and friends for their continued constant support as he pursues his passion.
The play will debut at the intimate 'Aurora Theater', in the quaint Lakewood Village, on Friday November the 29th and Saturday November the 30th.
Admission is $20.00 and provision has been made for a number of tickets to be offered at $15.00 for early bookings.
The play is written and directed by Wayne Allsop.
