Announcing the 2nd CMI Skills Lab at the Barnyard! On 5/16, Murray's affineur Josh Windsor will lead a sensory analysis workshop to help prepare mongers for the Blind Tasting & Aroma challenges at this year's Cheesemonger Invitational. Mongers will taste cheese with Josh and learn valuable cheese identification skills that will benefit them both during the competition and behind the counter. CMI NYC 2021 champion Tommy Amorim will also present the challenge and the judging parameters, and provide some tips and tricks for conquering the tasting on the day of the competition. Mongers will then participate in a mock blind tasting of 4 PDO cheeses, followed by a Maker to Monger cheese plate and mingling.
