Join us for an afternoon of community ritual and sound healing on May 4th. Ritual will begin at 4:44 pm by offering a sharing on Beltane, followed by a guided elemental meditation with singing bowls. Next, well share in a seed planting ritual, and end with a communal Maypole spinning which will unfold during a full sound bath. This is a BYO yoga mat event. Seeds, soil, and Maypole supplies will be provided by the ritual hosts. However, if you have a special ribbon youd like to contribute to the pole, feel free to bring it! The Maypole will stay in Silverfish as a temporary installation for the rest of the month. :)
Meet the hosts:
Hana (she/they) is a sound artist, energy worker, and intuitive dance host based out of Portland, ME. With a background in holistic medicine and native plant studies, Hana has since shifted into a sound-based energy practice, taking inspiration from whales and the ocean she was raised alongside. Day to day, Hana works as a support for students and adults with disabilities. She roots herself in community building, phase honoring, and as a humble witness to death and rebirth.
Void M.S, the Chaotic Neutral Mystic, is a psychic intuitive, musician, dj, linguist, folk herbalist, astrologer, teacher, and observer of The Cycles™. They offer many services and products including tarot and astrology readings, dream interpretation, herbal medicine, and sound healing. They tend to emerge on the path when someone is approaching a change or transition in life, and bring a powerful, transformative energy to the table. Their profound cosmic wisdom and nurturing earthly guidance echoes throughout everything they do, providing students and clients with the space and insight to heal and expand.
