Lancaster Roots and Blues, A Festival of Music 2024
Lancaster Roots and Blues is an annual festival of music and art held in beautiful downtown Lancaster Pennsylvania, USA. The event is held indoors at multiple venues all located within three blocks of each other. Attendees receive a wristband at check-in and can move about freely from stage to stage. Expect at least 80 concerts over the 3-day festival.

Style wise, Blues is a big part of the music but we also book a variety of genres including jazz, Americana, roots music, funk, soul, rock n roll including rockabilly, zydeco, world music, and more.
The genre of music is less important than having artists who play from the heart and with soul and possess a high standard of musical excellence. A good description of the music at Lancaster Roots and Blues is it is timeless. We definitely don't chase the flavor of the month. The music is memorable and superb.
Festival headquarters for the weekend of the event are at The Lancaster Holiday Inn, 26 E. Chestnut St. Lancaster PA 17602.
General admission tickets will get you in to see all shows except the few that are VIP only.
If you order a 1-day ticket, it will be good for any one day of the festival. Due to the ticketing computer system, the ticket will show the first day Friday Sept. 27, but if you are attending on either Saturday or Sunday, the ticket will be good even though it says the 27th.
We have a limited number of VIP tickets for sale and we only sell them as a 3-day ticket. These always sell out.
We offer the VIP ticket experience for people who want to make it a special weekend and like to support the festival. But the General Admission (GA) level tickets will still give you more music than you could possibly see.

Here is what you receive if you buy VIP tickets:
There will be two fun parties with live music and delicious food supplied by Lancaster's great restaurants. The First one will be the opening reception on Friday evening from 5 to 7 pm.
The second VIP Party is Saturday from 4:30 to 7:00 pm
VIPs will have first opportunities for seating at Steinman Hall (In The Ware Center) concerts.
All purchasers of VIP tickets will receive one free festival shirt and poster. When you pick up your VIP lanyard at the Box Office, stop at our merch table for your shirt and poster.
VIP ticket holders will receive a detailed email explaining all that you will receive including any last minute perks, about two weeks before the festival.

Box Office Location- When you arrive at the festival you will need to bring your ticket, (Either printed out or on your phone) to the box office to get scanned. There you will receive your festival pass, (Either a wristband or Lanyard for VIPs). The box office is in the Lancaster Holiday Inn. You enter into lobby and take escalator up and turn right. This will also be where festival merchandise will be sold. Including posters, shirts and mugs.
