Saint Matthew's Theatre Troupe Presents "Quilters"
Saint Matthew's Theatre Troupe proudly present "Quilters", a musical with a book by Molly Newman and Barbara Damashek, and lyrics and music by Barbara Damashek. It is about the lives of American pioneer women based on the book The Quilters: Women and Domestic Art by Patricia Cooper and Norma Bradley Allen. Starrring nine extremely talented local actresses, Quilters highlights women's day to day life on the 1870s prairie, and delves into pieces of women's lives such as childhood, schooling, courtship, marriage, childbirth and natural disasters. A heart warming and heart tugging experience, Quilter's is appropriate for ages 12 to 112. Some content may be unsuitable for younger children.
