Dikembe/Glazed at The Bark 06/07

Florida native heart throbs, Dikembe, kick off their highly anticipated reunion tour at The Bark, June 7th.

Dikembe - Established in 2010, the 5 piece legends from the swamps of Gainesville, Florida are reuniting and riding into town to teach you the real lessons of heartache. Melodic mathy guitars riffs ring through the halls,a bass line so sweet your bones tend to shake, by the way, that bass drum matches my heartbeat, all of this incredible instrumentation riddled with lyrics driven by angsty vocals and lyrics that touch on the true detriment of what you feel within, the inability to belong. Though nothing ever feels right.. maybe this finally does. Sorry that you finally understand. Either way this band has gotten through and so have you. So revel in it all and don't look back.

GLAZED - Rolling through from Jacksonville again, yes last year it got rained out and they came through with a quite intimate, "under the bridge" acoustic set. These boys got grit, style and a feeling of nostalgia. Let's give them, or me, a chance at redemption, while we journey through this pop punk set of feeling all that makes you feel alive.
