Repast Baroque Ensemble: Music for a While, Manhattan Performance
This program portrays the divine genius of Henry Purcell. Repast portrays Purcell's unique style with songs, fantasies, keyboard works, and the famous Chaconne. Purcell lived only to age 36, but the creative output of his short life was breathtaking.
